Jill Campbell

Biography

Jill Campbell graduated from Westminster College where she earned degrees in Speech, Theater, and Elementary Education. She is a learning enrichment teacher at State College Area High School where she is also co-advisor and director of the State High Thespians. Her students have most recently performed The Scarlet Pimpernel at the National Invitational Theater Festival and Into the Woods at the Pennsylvania State Thespian Conference.

Jill also directs and performs with the State College Community Theater. Favorite directing credits include: Lost in Yonkers and Ah Wilderness. Her favorite performances include Anne, 1940’s Radio Hour, Salome, Robber Bridegroom, and most recently Quilters.

Ms. Campbell last performed with the Nittany Valley Symphony for their Family Concert on January 18, 2003, where she narrated The Remarkable Farkle McBride by Elliott and Lithgow. She is delighted to have be able to take this opportunity to join her love of literature with her love of music.

Jill lives in Pine Grove Mills with her husband Carl and triplets John, Caleb, and Eli. Her husband is the Pastor at Pine Grove Mills Presbyterian Church where she directs the choir.
