Jill Campbell
Biography
Jill Campbell graduated from Westminster College where she earned degrees in
Speech, Theater, and Elementary Education.
She is a learning enrichment teacher at
State College Area High School
where she is also co-advisor and director of
the State High Thespians.
Her students have most recently performed The Scarlet Pimpernel at the
National Invitational Theater Festival and Into the Woods at the
Pennsylvania State Thespian Conference.
Jill also directs and performs with the State College Community Theater.
Favorite directing credits include: Lost in Yonkers and Ah Wilderness.
Her favorite performances include Anne, 1940’s Radio Hour, Salome, Robber Bridegroom,
and most recently Quilters.
Ms. Campbell last performed with the Nittany Valley Symphony for their Family Concert
on January 18, 2003, where she narrated The Remarkable Farkle McBride by Elliott and Lithgow.
She is delighted to have be able to take this opportunity to join her love of
literature with her love of music.
Jill lives in Pine Grove Mills with her husband Carl and triplets
John, Caleb, and Eli. Her husband is the Pastor at Pine Grove Mills Presbyterian Church
where she directs the choir.
