The Ann and Wolfgang Meyer Nittany Valley Symphony Fund of the Centre County Community Foundation Inc.

Ann and Wolfgang Meyer were long time residents of State College and actively supported arts in the community. Ann was active on the Board of Directors for a number of years and was a driving force in audience development and donor support of the Nittany Valley Symphony.

In 1998, Ann and Wolfgang decided to help insure the future of the Symphony by establishing an endowment fund and being the first and most substantial donor. Their gift to the symphony along with the gifts and contributions of many others helps to supplement the annual income to the symphony which depends upon corporate underwriters and individual contributions. Memorial gifts are welcome additions to the fund.

In April of 2002, Ann lost her long battle with cancer. Wolfgang died in 2003. The fund that bears their name is a living legacy of their passion for classical music in our community.
