Orchestra Section Sponsorship: $3,000

Benefits negotiable.

Principal Chair Sponsorship: as listed below

Our chair sponsorship program is used to sponsor the principal musician of a specific section of the orchestra. The sponsorship provides a nominal compensation for this position so the Nittany Valley Symphony can attract and keep the most talented musicians in the area.

Concertmaster: $3,000.00

Principal players: $2,000.00

Violin, viola, cello, double bass, flute, oboe, clarinet, bassoon, French horn, trumpet, trombone, tuba, timpani, percussion, harp or assistant conductor.

Additional players: $1,500.00

English horn, bass clarinet, contra-bassoon

Benefits negotiable.

Musicians in the Making (MIM): $2,000

A program designed to introduce future young artists to both the symphony and to public performing. A group of young artists or an individual is selected to perform at Eisenhower Auditorium prior to symphony concerts. The $2,000 sponsorship provides a variety of opportunities for the Symphony to reach out to young musicians.

Benefits negotiable.

N.O.T.E.S. Program: $500

A program that has the Maestro and sometimes orchestra players visiting in classrooms with programs that instruct students about the orchestra and upcoming concerts. Groups of students are then invited to attend a concert as guests of Nittany Valley Symphony.

Ann Keller Young Soloist Competition: $1,000

Each year, the Ann Keller Young Soloist Competition attracts about a dozen extremely talented students from area high schools. The competition is closed to the public, but the winner is asked to perform with the Symphony at the Family Concert. Competitors are also invited to perform at a CPYO concert.
